United Methodist Foundation, Inc. is a connectional part of the Church and is in ministry with local churches by offering the following services:

Planned Giving Presentations & Seminars

Special presentations for events in the local church are available—such as family night dinners, United Methodist Women and United Methodist Men programs, adult Sunday School class presentations, senior citizens/retiree group programs, etc. Click here for a list of Workshops.

Stewardship Consultations

The Foundation staff can provide hands-on assistance in establishing an Endowment program. Continuing assistance and support is also available once the program is established. Resources are available to help churches encourage giving and to help members learn various ways of making special gifts to benefit the ministry of the church.

Investments

An Investment Partnership is available for churches and institutions through which they can benefit from the advantages of greater diversification of investments along with the possibility of both minimizing cost and maximizing investment return. Read more about this partnership.

Sale of Securities

The Foundation also helps individuals donating securities to a church and helps churches selling gifts of securities. There are no fees from UMF for these services.
